Pre-lab Quiz
Try giving them a few question before lab covering the lab.
Just simple knowledge questions to see if they've read the lab and
know what's going to happen.
- I think about 3 questions per lab is good.
- I'd do this via email. Send out the question a few days
before lab (2?) and then have them email back say a few hours
before lab.
- If you use email, you can also require them to tell you what
they are confused about. You can then address this in the
pre-lab.
- If you try this, emphasize that this is to
their benefit. These are easy points to get on
each lab!
